Dr. Ioannis Makris
Ioannis Makris was born in Thessaloniki in 1972. He is a Supreme Court and Council of State lawyer, graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a master in the Field of Public Law and Political Science. He prepared his doctoral thesis in the discipline of Constitutional and Special Administrative Law and in particular in Environmental Law and in 2008 he was unanimously admitted as a Doctor in the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the discipline of Public Law and Political Science, while on 2024 he was admitted as a Doctor in the School of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, after preparing a second doctoral thesis in the discipline of Canon-Ecclesiastical Law.
He has a prodigious amount of literary works, while he has published a great number of scientific studies and works in the Legal Press and participated as rapporteur in scientific conferences and seminars.
He is a member of the Society of Macedonian Studies, of the Hellenic branch of the National Institute of Social Defense, of the Association of Reserve Officers of Greece and the German-language lawyers Association. At the same time he is a member of the Expenditure Control and Electoral Violations Committee of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia – Thrace, he participates in the Scientific Council of the Local Authority and cooperates as a scientific advisor with the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece.
He has been a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association since 1997 and engages in the active practice of law as the Head of a multi-member Law Firm in Athens and in Thessaloniki in cases of any object with a particular specialization in matters of Public Works contracts and Local Authorities, as well as in matters of Corporate Governance before the ordinary Civil and Administrative Courts, the Supreme Court, the Council of the State, the Court of Auditors and the European Court of Human Rights. He represents as an attorney government agencies, foreign authorities and diplomatic bodies, large Company Groups, in Greece or abroad, operating in Greece and abroad, Legal Entities governed by Public and Private Law, First and Second Level Local Authorities, Local Authorities, Ecclesiastical organizations and Metropolises, as well as natural persons.
He is a legal advisor of various Societes Anonymes, Legal Entities governed by Public Law and Local Authorities all over Greece.
He is fluent in German and English.
Fotios Rompotis
Fotios Robotis was born in Komotini in 1982. He is a Supreme Court lawyer, graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holds a LLM in “Law and Engineering of Energy” from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he is a mediator accredited by the Ministry of Justice, registered in the General Register of Ombudsmen of the Central Committee of Mediation. He has been a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association since 2007. He has attended a variety of scientific conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad, with the subject of commercial law, energy law and the legislation governing the production of electric energy through renewable energy sources. He has been working as a lawyer since 2007, representing judicially and also at a consulting level legal entities and local authorities all over Greece. He participated in the composition of the 9th Appeals Committee of the Municipality of Thessaloniki of the company NATIONAL CADASTRE S.A. as a member. He speaks English and French.
Alexandros K. Koliopoulos
Alexandros Koliopoulos is a Supreme Court Lawyer, a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association, and engages in the active practice of law since 1999. He is specialized in Civil Law, Commercial Law (Company Law, Intellectual and Industrial property, Computer Law), in the financial criminal Law, as well as in Public Law with court attendance in cases of the wider legal and social interest. He has been a mediator and the legal representative in mediation procedures and has more than twenty years of experience in extra-judicial dispute resolution. He teaches “Law and Economy” in the department of “Management Science and Technology” of the University of Western Macedonia as well as the Postgraduate program “Mediation and Negotiation” of the Department of Management of Human Resources of the above University. He has a master in “Sociology, Philosophy and History of Law” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in “Education in the Management of Human Resources – Mediation” of the University of Western Macedonia. He actively participated in study and research laboratories of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the fields of “Single European Area” and “Sovereignty – Security – Human Rights” as well as in various seminars. His doctoral thesis has as subject the Mediation – Negotiation between Companies and Bank Institutions. He has been an Arbitrator and a member of the Committee on Scientific Affairs of Thessaloniki Bar Association. He is a Legal Advisor and an external salaried attorney for a Legal Entity governed by Public Law and a Legal Entity governed by Private Law – Local Authority as well as for various companies and businesses
Ο Αλέξανδρος Κολιόπουλος είναι Δικηγόρος Παρ’ Αρείω Πάγω, μέλος του Δικηγορικού Συλλόγου Θεσσαλονίκης, και ασκεί μάχιμη δικηγορία από το έτος 1999. Ειδικεύεται στο Αστικό Δίκαιο, στο Εμπορικό Δίκαιο (Δίκαιο Εταιριών, Πνευματική και Βιομηχανική ιδιοκτησία, Δίκαιο Πληροφορικής), στο οικονομικό ποινικό Δίκαιο καθώς και στο Δημόσιο Δίκαιο με δικαστικές παραστάσεις σε υποθέσεις ευρύτερου νομικού και κοινωνικού ενδιαφέροντος. Διετέλεσε διαπραγματευτής και νομικός παραστάτης σε διαμεσολαβήσεις και διαθέτει εμπειρία άνω των είκοσι ετών στην εξωδικαστική επίλυση διαφορών. Διδάσκει «Δίκαιο και Οικονομία» στο τμήμα «Διοικητικής Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας» του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας καθώς και «Διαμεσολάβηση και Διαπραγμάτευση» στο Μεταπτυχιακό τμήμα της Διαχείρισης Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού του ως άνω Πανεπιστημίου. Έχει διατελέσει Διαιτητής, και μέλος της επιτροπής επιστημονικών υποθέσεων του Δικηγορικού Συλλόγου Θεσσαλονίκης. Είναι Νομικός Σύμβουλος και εξωτερικός συνεργαζόμενος δικηγόρος Ν.Π.Δ.Δ και Ν.Π.Ι.Δ – ΟΤΑ καθώς επίσης πολλών εταιριών και επιχειρήσεων
Ελισσάβετ Καρανάσιου
Elissavet Karanasiou is a Lawyer, graduate of the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace and member of Thessaloniki Bar Association since 1999, engaged in the active practice of law. She is specialized in Public – Administrative Law and undertakes cases such as: civil liability cases of the State, officials’ appeals, disciplinary law cases for civil servants, Data Protection Law cases, as well as Civil Law (real estate, labor law, compensations, family law). Since 2013 she serves as a Legal Advisor at the Legal Support Office of the Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education of Central Macedonia of the Ministry of Education. She is also the Data Protection Representative at the above-mentioned service since 2018. She has a Master in the field of “Public Law and Political Science” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as well as in the field of “Adult Education” of the Hellenic Open University having a thesis with subject “Educating lawyers on mediation. Transition to the adoption of alternative ways of dispute resolution”. She also holds a degree in the Department of Education, School of Pedagogical and Technological Education of Thessaloniki. She is a Legal Advisor for various companies and businesses and a external salaried attorney for a Legal Entity governed by Public Law. She has been the Deputy Director of the Public Vocational Training Institute of Triandria, the Financial Director for the certification exams of the Hellenic Agency for Vocational Education and Training, a member of the Certification Exam Committee of the Hellenic Agency for Vocational Education and Training, member of the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala “Certification of Women on Initial Vocational Training and Education” and a tutor in adult institutions. She participated in the organizational committee of the Regional Directorate of Education of Central Macedonia with the subject “Legal aspects of the Educational Reality”, and as a attendee in various legal and educational seminars.
Thomai Papa
Thomai Papa was born in Giannitsa in 1992. She is a Court of Appeal lawyer, a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association since 2017. She graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a master’s degree in Public Law and Political Science of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She mainly engages in administrative law, public works contract law, tax and financial law. Within the framework of her postgraduate studies, she prepared a thesis with the subject pre-contractual audit of public procurements of great financial value by the Court of Auditors. She has participated in scientific seminars, in which she presented her recommendation on tax and constitutional law. An extract of her work entitled “Recommendations on a fixed term of office of the Parliament” has been published in the online scientific magazine www.constitutionalism.gr of “Aristovoulos Manesis” Group, while she participated in the writing of the study “The legislative treatment of gender discrimination in Greece” issued by the Institution Heinrich BöII. She speaks English.
Styliani Iliadou
Styliani Iliadou was born in Thessaloniki in 1997. She is a First Instance Court lawyer, a member of Thessaloniki Bar Association since 2021, and she mainly engages in public law. She graduated from the Law School of the Democritus university of Thrace in 2019 and she has a master in “Public law and Political Science” of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a specialty in administrative law and in particular public procurements. She has attended various scientific conferences and seminars and has been the Head and the Chief Editor of the Law journal “Ypagogi” issued by the E.L.S.A. (European Law Students Association) branch in Komotini. In the same journal, she has published legal articles and commentary on modern jurisprudence. She speaks English and French.
